Larry Caldwell, DDS
Dr. Larry Caldwell is a dentist in Sugar Land, Texas, who specializes in providing quality pediatric dental care. He has been in private practice since 1982.
Dr. Caldwell graduated from the University of Texas Dental Branch at Houston in 1978, and completed a two-year residency in pediatric dentistry at Texas Children's Hospital in 1981. He became board certified by the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry in 1997.
Dr. Caldwell holds memberships in the American Dental Association, Greater Houston District Dental Society and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
He performs volunteer service with many local organizations and conducts food drives for the local food pantry.
Dr. Caldwell is married, has one daughter and two beautiful granddaughters that keep him busy. Also, while away from the office, he enjoys golf, working out, yoga and walking his dogs.
Derek Steinbring, DDS MSD
Dr. Steinbring was born and raised in Fredericksburg, Texas and attended Texas A&M University, earning his Bachelor of Science Degree in Animal Science in 2009.
He received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas School of Dentistry in 2013 and completed a two-year residency program in pediatric dentistry at The University of Texas School of Dentistry in Houston with affiliations at Texas Children's Hospital and Memorial Hermann Children's hospital in 2015. Dr. Steinbring is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Steinbring is a member of the Greater Houston Dental Society, Houston Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Texas Dental Association, Texas Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, and American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Steinbring enjoys spending time with his wife Holly, their young Son and two Labs, Bhodi and Cheyenne. The family are active members of Sugar Land First United Methodist Church. His hobbies include running, working out, playing golf, hunting, fishing, Texas A&M athletics, and spending time on his family's ranch in Fredericksburg, Texas.
Mary Kate Shelton, DDS
Dr. Shelton was born and raised in the small town of Freeport in the Florida Panhandle. She obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Sciences from Auburn University (War Eagle!) and then moved to Houston to pursue a Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas School of Dentistry. Having a passion for prevention, children and making dentistry more fun, Dr. Shelton chose to continue her education at UT. She completed a two year residency program in pediatric dentistry where she grew her skills in behavior management, sedation and growth and development. Dr. Shelton's goal is to make every child feel known and comfortable in the dental office!
Dr. Shelton is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Houston Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Greater Houston Dental Society, and the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine.
Dr. Shelton enjoys spending time with her husband, Chase, and her yellow lab, Annie Oakley. She and her husband are active partners at Grace Bible Church in Houston and serve in the children's ministry and on the welcome team. In her free time she enjoys being outside at the beach or pool, exercising, reading or walking with Annie!
